Three hoursThis class will provide an overview of the clinical skills used in the practices of child and adolescent therapy. Clinical assessment and treatment of children and adolescents in socio-cultural context will be the focus for knowledge and skill development in this class. Multiple therapy perspectives will be utilized with the primary theoretical emphasis being a family systems/therapy framework. Common childhood and adolescent disorders will be reviewed and applied to specific case material.
