ED 8343 Programming for Students with Exceptionalities
Three hoursThis course will examine the need to develop and adapt curriculum for individual learners in the general and special education classroom. Individualized Education Programming (IEP) development will be reviewed and discussed at length with clinical experience required. Adaptations in the form of modifications and accommodation will be reviewed. The importance of universal design instruction for all students and response to intervention best practices will be reviewed and discussed. Field experience required.
