An introduction to music, through the study of selected masterworks of concert and stage genres representative of a variety of historical periods. Emphases on style and form, understanding and appreciation, and application to other examples of the perception skills developed through the study of the selected works. Meets the Arts and Humanities requirement of the Core Curriculum.
