BIO 1003 Biological ScienceThree hours (On Campus and Online) An introductory survey of biology course designed for liberal arts students. Topics addressed include the nature of science, cellular processes, genetics, biotechnology, evolution, biodiversity, ecology, and the integration of science and Christianity. Laboratory experiences emphasize scientific investigations and biological processes. Two hours lecture-discussion and one two-hour laboratory per week. Meets the Natural Science requirement of the Core Curriculum. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
Corequisite: BIO 1003L Offered on campus Fall and Spring semesters Offered online Fall A and Summer A terms
