ART 4513 Business of CinemaThree hours An examination of the business of cinema where students explore the role of both the assistant director and the producer in shepherding the film from project development to completion and distribution. Covers film and television studio operations, setting up a production office, scheduling, working with talent agents and unions, as well as budgets and movie financing. Negotiating contracts, copyright and other legal aspects of the entertainment industry are also introduced. An additional fee associated with this course.
