CHM 1014 Fundamentals of Chemistry

Four hours
An introduction to the field of chemistry. Designed to provide students with an understanding of basic chemical principles and their application to relevant problems, course work is suitable for students in Construction Management, Nursing, and the liberal arts. Three hours lecture-discussion and one two-hour laboratory per week. An additional fee associated with this course. Meets the Physical Science requirement of the Core Curriculum.

Prerequisite or corequisite: minimum ACT math score of 24, or SAT math score of at least 580, or MTH 1113
