Three hoursIn the context of a study abroad program, an introduction to documentary photography and the society of a host country. Students make careful observation of the habits and purposes of a people group and document those observations through photography. Participants often have opportunity to apply the knowledge as they work for a local publication and/or ministry, gaining both quality experience and portfolio enhancement. May substitute for ART 4183 in Visual Arts curricula. Meets the Global Studies requirement in the Core Curriculum. An additional fee associated with this course.
