BBL 4453 Art and Archaeology of JordanThree hours (Jordan Studies) This course is an introduction to the art and archaeology of Jordan from the Neolithic period up to the present. A major component of this course will be participation in the archaeological excavation at Abila of the Decapolis in northern Jordan and travel to archaeological sites and museums in Jordan and other countries in the Middle East through John Brown University’s Jordan Summer Studies Program. Meets the Arts and Humanities requirement of the Core Curriculum.
