PHY 1114 Fundamentals of Physics IFour hours (On Campus) An introductory study of the principles of Newtonian mechanics, vibrations, waves, and sound. Primarily for Biology, Construction Management, and Kinesiology majors. Three hours lecture-discussion and one two-hour laboratory period per week. Meets the Natural Science with lab requirement of the Core Curriculum. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
Prerequisites: minimum ACT math score of 24, or minimum SAT math score of 580, or CLT math score of at least 21, or MTH 1113 and MTH 1122 Corequisite: PHY 1114L Offered on campus Fall semester
