PHY 1114 Fundamentals of Physics I

Four hours (On Campus)

An introductory study of the principles of Newtonian mechanics, vibrations, waves, and sound. Primarily for Biology, Construction Management, and Kinesiology majors. Three hours lecture-discussion and one two-hour laboratory period per week. Meets the Natural Science with lab requirement of the Core Curriculum. An additional fee may be associated with this course.

Prerequisites: minimum ACT math score of 24, or minimum SAT math score of 580, or CLT math score of at least 21, or MTH 1113 and MTH 1122
Corequisite: PHY 1114L
