NUR 1211 Strategies for Success in Nursing School

One hour (On campus)
Time management, effective studying, retention and application of knowledge are important in order to be successful in a nursing school curriculum. This course is designed to assist freshman and sophomore students learn these skills as they continue to their goal of entering the nursing program. We will discuss textbook reading, note taking, and test taking strategies to assist them to gain and retain the knowledge they are learning in their current courses. The goal of the course is to equip the student with the skills and understanding of the personal commitment required for success in completion of the upper division nursing courses.
