ED 8373 Ethics and School PoliciesThree hours (On Campus) Study of the principles and models that are the basis for the organization and administration of counseling services in schools. Content includes construction of needs assessments, crisis response, community referrals and empirically sound techniques used to provide counseling services to school aged children. Based on the Arkansas model, course will emphasize the importance of outcome based assessments. Students will receive a variety of educational experiences through observation hours in approved school settings.
Prerequisite: ED 8333 Offered on campus Spring semester
