ART 3553 Social Documentary Photography Abroad

Three hours (Study Abroad)

In the context of a study abroad program, an introduction to documentary photography and the society of a host country. Students make careful observation of the habits and purposes of a people group and document those observations through photography. Participants often have opportunity to apply the knowledge as they work for a local publication and/or ministry, gaining both quality experience and portfolio enhancement. May substitute for ART 4183 in Visual Arts curricula. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
