BIO 1003 Biological Science

Three hours (On Campus and Online)
An introductory survey of biology course designed for liberal arts students. Topics addressed include the nature of science, cellular processes, genetics, biotechnology, evolution, biodiversity, ecology, and the integration of science and Christianity. Laboratory experiences emphasize scientific investigations and biological processes. On campus offerings have two hours lecture-discussion and one two-hour laboratory per week. Meets the Natural Science with lab requirement of the Core Curriculum.  An additional fee may be associated with this course.

Corequisite: BIO 1003L
