BIO 3613 VirologyThree hours (On Campus) This course is a study of the structure, classification, life cycle, and pathogenesis of viruses, and the immune response to virus infections of host organisms. Human viruses will be emphasized in the lecture. Viruses will be studied as pathogens and as tools for biomedicine and biological discovery. Three hours lecture-discussion per week. This course must be taken with BIO 3611 .
Prerequisites: BIO 1121 and BIO 1123 ; CHM 1131 and CHM 1133 Corequisite: BIO 3611 Offered on campus Fall semester (even-numbered years)
