CM 3132 Structural Systems for BuildingsTwo hours (On Campus) A study of the design of steel structural elements typically found in buildings and a consideration of steel erection procedures. Also, the study of the design and control of concrete mixtures, the design of simple reinforced concrete structural elements, and the study of basic temporary structures (shoring, scaffolding, form-work) that will be encountered on typical construction projects. Two hours lecture-discussion per week. This lecture must be taken with CM 3231 .
