POL 1093 Honors: American Government and PoliticsThree hours (On Campus) A study of the origins, institutions, and policies of the national government in the United States, incorporating biblical assessments of various facets of the American system of government. Students formulate their own political views as informed by the principles and practices presented in course readings and class discussion. The course promotes better citizenship through understanding and appreciation of American self-government. Meets the Social and Behavioral Sciences requirement of the Core Curriculum.
Prerequisite: admission to Honors Program or Honors Committee approval Offered on campus Fall semester (even-numbered years)
