CS 2173 Computer NetworkingThree hours (On Campus) The internet is the major driving force in making the world stay connected. The connectivity of different types of networks across the globe makes this possible with numerous protocols, topologies, and technologies. This course mainly focuses on network protocols, layered structures of networks, routing, network performance, and advanced topics on Bluetooth, WIFI, and cloud networking technologies. In addition to learning all the theory components of network architectures and communications across networks, students will gain experience in solving simple tasks using network programming. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
Prerequisite: CS 1233 Offered on campus Fall semester
