EN 1112 Introduction to Engineering

Two hours (On Campus)
This course introduces students to fundamental engineering concepts and design processes through a combination of lectures, discussions, and hands-on projects. Students will explore basic principles across electrical, mechanical, and programming disciplines, gaining practical experience through a multidisciplinary design project. Students will be introduced to essential engineering skills in 3-D modeling, electrical circuit design and testing, and microcontroller programming. In addition to technical skills, the course emphasizes key strategies for academic success, preparing students for their engineering studies and college life. Two hours lecture-discussion per week. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
