PSY 4273 Field Experience: CSIThree hours (On Campus) The Field Experience Summer Internship Program gives one student from the Psychology Department an opportunity to get real world experience in applied psychology. The program offers a fifteen week, eight hours per week (a total of 120 hours), field experience at Community Services Inc. (“CSI”) located in Rogers, Arkansas. CSI is a 501(c)(3) youth family services organization serving youth, eighteen years of age and younger that provides prevention, education, foster care, day treatment, substance abuse services, mental health services, and juvenile justice programs ordered by the juvenile justice court system to impacted youth and their families. Students will receive a broad level of field experience in the psychology and counseling programs offered by CSI, including substance abuse counseling, family counseling, one-on-one counseling, and counseling ordered by the juvenile justice system in Benton County, Arkansas. Same as CRJ 4273 .
Prerequisites: PSY 2233 and PSY 2243 Offered on campus Summer semester
