Three hours (On Campus)
A survey of core linguistics concepts in the areas of phonetics, morphology, semantics, syntax, language change (special attention to the history of English), language variety (taxonomy and dialects). Meets the Social and Behavioral Sciences requirement of the Core Curriculum.
