CHM 1133 General Chemistry II

Three hours (On Campus)
This course is a continuation of the systematic study of basic chemical principles and properties that govern matter and its changes. The topics covered in this course include thermodynamics, kinetics, properties of solids and liquids, aqueous equilibria, and introductions to electrochemistry and nuclear chemistry. Three hours lecture-discussion per week. This course meets three hours of the Natural Science with lab requirement of the Core Curriculum. This lecture must be taken with CHM 1131 .

Prerequisites: CHM 1121  and CHM 1123  
Corequisite: CHM 1131
