KIN 3263 Essentials of Strength and Conditioning

Three hours (On Campus)
This course is designed to give an overview of the practice of strength and conditioning coaches and personal trainers. Scientific and practical foundations of strength and conditioning will be taught, with an emphasis on program design using a variety of methods for various populations and exercise techniques. This course is designed to assist students in preparation of sitting for the nationally recognized strength and conditioning (CSCS) and fitness (NSCA-CPT) certification examinations. 

Recommended: BIO 2511  and BIO 2513  recommended but not required
