CS 1113 Introduction to Computing

Three hours
An introduction to algorithmic problem solving in the context of a modern programming language. Such topics as problem-solving strategies, basic data structures, data and procedural abstraction, and algorithm complexity are discussed. Three hours lecture-discussion per week. An additional fee associated with this course.

Prerequisite: minimum ACT math score of 24, or SAT math score of at least 580, or MTH 1113  
Offered fall semester
