Leadership Studies Minor

The Leadership Studies minor is designed to empower and equip students from any discipline to be effective leaders. Designed to be cross-disciplinary in approach, well-grounded in academic theory, and practical in application, the minor covers the discipline of leadership at the core, as well as leadership competencies in a wide variety of contexts.
Students must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 in each minor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Develop a personal leadership philosophy rooted in faith, academic literature, and personal discovery.
- Demonstrate understanding of organizational behavior and leadership theory and the application to various organizational context.
- Apply an understanding of ethics and ethical consideration to personal and professional leadership.
- Apply personal leadership, theory, and best practice to future leadership opportunity.
