Leadership Studies Minor

The Leadership Studies minor is designed to empower and equip students from any discipline to be effective leaders. Designed to be cross-disciplinary in approach, well-grounded in academic theory, and practical in application, the minor covers the discipline of leadership at the core, as well as leadership competencies in a wide variety of contexts.

Students must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 in each minor.

Student Learning Outcomes:

  1. Develop a personal leadership philosophy rooted in faith, academic literature, and personal discovery.
  2. Demonstrate understanding of organizational behavior and leadership theory and the application to various organizational context.
  3. Apply an understanding of ethics and ethical consideration to personal and professional leadership.
  4. Apply personal leadership, theory, and best practice to future leadership opportunity.
