Student Learning Outcomes
Students graduating with a major in Cybersecurity will:
- Gain a foundational knowledge of programming logic and understand the need for life-long learning.
- Demonstrate technical configuration skills and secure infrastructure design knowledge relevant to the contemporary cybersecurity field.
- Demonstrate communication and team-work skills.
- Demonstrate preparedness to enter graduate school or the workplace through an exit interview.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve moral and ethical dilemmas through their understanding and application of the Christian worldview.
Requirements for the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with major in Cybersecurity

University Core Curriculum - 36 or 37 hours
Program requirements satisfy 12 of the 48 hours in the Core Curriculum.
Program requirements satisfy 12 of the 49 hours in the Core Curriculum for online students.
- The Intercultural Engagement elective area is satisfied by INT 4103 .
- The Mathematics elective area is satisfied by one of the following: BUS 2193 , MTH 1003 , MTH 2103 , PSY 2383 .
- Six hours of the Social and Behavior Sciences elective area are satisfied by PSY 1013 and PSY 3423 .
