Accelerated Master’s Program - Business

Accelerated Master’s Program Options

John Brown University undergraduate students may begin work on a graduate degree after reaching junior status (60 completed hours) by declaring an Accelerated Master’s Program (AMP). Once students declare an AMP, their academic plan will reflect the courses required, and they will be assigned a graduate advisor in addition to their undergraduate advisor. In the Accelerated Master’s Program in business, students complete 12 hours of graduate course work, which may be applied toward the JBU M.B.A. in Business degree program at the completion of their undergraduate degree. A minimum grade of ‘C/2.0’ or better is required in each graduate course.

  • BUS 7013 Managerial Accounting (prerequisite required for non-business majors)
  • BUS 7033 Organizational Management and Leadership
  • BUS 7113 Marketing Strategies
  • BUS 7223 Managerial Economics (prerequisite required for non-business majors)
  • BUS 7253 Design Thinking Methods
  • BUS 7443 Leading Organizational Transformation
  • BUS 8003 Managerial Finance (prerequisite required for non-business majors)
  • BUS 8283 Marketing Analytics
  • OPM 7043 Community Development and Dynamics
  • OPM 7313 Outdoor Program Management
  • OPM 8143 Development & Formation in an Outdoor, Experiential Context
  • OPM 8433 Advanced Methods of Experiential Education

* Available for undergraduate business majors only; non-business majors cannot enroll in the ATG courses.
