The student must successfully complete work in the classroom, ensemble participation, and private instruction in applied music (either private or class)-voice, piano, or another approved instrument.

Requirements for minor in Music - 19 hours

MUS 1000 Recital Attendance (On Campus) (to be taken two semesters)
MUS 1103 Foundations of Music (On Campus)
MUS 1152 Keyboard Musicianship I (On Campus)

Applied Music Instruction

Four hours (either private or class)

Ensemble participation

Two hours (see ensemble participation requirements)

Eight hours from MUS courses

At least six hours must be upper-division course work
