Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with major in Film

University Core Curriculum - 45 hours
Program requirements satisfy 3 of the 48 hours in the Core Curriculum. - Three hours of the Arts and Humanities elective area are satisfied by one of the following: ART 2163 , ART 2233 .
Core Curriculum Courses Visual Arts Department Core - 10 hours
Film Major Core - 30 hours
In addition to the film major courses, students must choose one concentration to pursue. Production Concentration - 18 hours
Production Electives
Two of the following Screenwriting Concentration - 18 hours
Screenwriting Electives
Two of the following Visual FX Concentration - 18 hours
Visual FX Electives
One of the following Minor field, area of interest, or electives as necessary to complete minimum total hours
This academic program requires 17 elective credits. Under federal regulations, financial aid is generally limited to course work that applies to your declared program of study.
