Student Learning Outcomes:

Students will be able to create a research-based family life education program based on a needs assessment of a proposed client.
Students will be able to apply a knowledge of professional helping responsibilities to engage with clients or colleagues.
Students will be able to demonstrate an ability to engage with people (one or more) and deliver helping skills.

Requirements for the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with major in Family and Human Services

University Core Curriculum - 39 hours

Program requirements satisfy 9 of the 48 hours in the Core Curriculum.

The Intercultural Engagement elective area is satisfied by one of the following: ED 2033 , HST 3283 , ICS 2113 , POL 3253 .
Six hours of the Social and Behavioral Sciences elective area are satisfied by two of the following: FAM 2143 , FAM 2243 , FAM 2413 , FAM 2633 , FAM 3243 , FAM 3413 , FAM 3653 , FAM 4253 , FAM 4273 , FAM 4383 , FAM 4443 , PSY 1013 .
