Undergraduate Catalog 2025-2026 Draft Catalog
World Religions Minor
|
|
Return to: College of Bible, Humanities, and Arts
The minor in World Religions provides students with the opportunity to become more globally minded through focused study of the religious traditions of the world beyond Christianity. Doing so will provide students with the apologetic resources to more thoughtfully give reason for the hope that they have in Christ; better enable them to share the Gospel in an informed and sensitive manner; help them to engage in ecumenical social action; and will enhance their own Christian faith as they appreciate the goodness, beauty, and truth in the religions of the world, without compromising the uniqueness of Christian faith.
The minor is especially suited to students who want to have a more global perspective about their place in the world, who want to serve overseas on the mission field, or who want to work in business, government, or humanitarian aid and disaster relief in a global context.
