Biomedical Engineering Minor

The Minor in Biomedical Engineering provides students with a foundational understanding of how engineering principles, analytical methods, and design thinking are applied to solve problems in biology and engineering. This minor is highly beneficial for students in related sciences or engineering fields who plan to pursue careers in medical device development, biotechnology, or advanced health science research. Upon completion, students will be able to demonstrate foundational knowledge by applying engineering and biological concepts to analyze physiological processes, utilize quantitative methods like programming and modeling to evaluate biomedical systems, and formulate engineering-based solutions for challenges in medical diagnostics or device design.

Requirements for minor in Biomedical Engineering - 18 hours
