Outdoor and Camp Administration Certificate

This certificate offers preparation for camp and outdoor programming leaders who want to deepen their knowledge and extend their skill set to deliver transformational experiences. The courses include a deep exploration into experiential education, processes of community development and identity formation, as well as how to develop theory-based interventions as a consultative leader. The certificate is twelve credit hours made up of four, eight-week courses. The certificate can be completed in nine months with two courses in the fall and two courses in the spring. The certificate can be completed in person or through our hybrid model of remote education allowing for online participation in a live class session. Classes meet one evening per week.
