Outdoor Programming Leadership Certificate

This certificate is designed for camp and outdoor leaders who want to deepen their knowledge of organizational leadership and administration. Participants will explore topics, both academically and experientially, including managerial decision making, financial concepts for decision making, leading organizational change, fundraising, and structuring experience-based staff development processes. The certificate is twelve credit hours made up of four, eight-week courses. The certificate can be completed in nine months with two courses in the fall and two courses in the spring. The certificate can be completed in person or through our hybrid model of remote education allowing for online participation in a live class session. Classes meet one evening per week.
