MUS 1103 Elements of Music Theory

Three hours

Rudiments of music including meter, intervals, scales, key signatures, triads, and seventh chords. Includes fundamental aural skills and an introduction to notation software used in subsequent music theory course work. Credit does not count toward graduation hours or toward any Music Department field of study. May be waived by examination.
