PHY 1114 Fundamentals of Physics IFour hours An introductory study of the principles of Newtonian mechanics, vibrations, waves, and sound. Primarily for Biology, Construction Management, and Kinesiology majors. Three hours lecture-discussion and one two-hour laboratory period per week. Meets the Natural Science requirement of the Core Curriculum. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
Prerequisite(s): minimum ACT math score of 24, or SAT math score of at least 580, or MTH 1113 and MTH 1122 Offered fall semester
