ART 2423 Photojournalism

Three hours

This course explores journalistic storytelling, focusing on how images enhance a news story. Students examine the similarities and differences in photojournalism of newspapers, magazines, television, the Internet, and other media, discuss the historical and ethical aspects of journalism, and are introduced to the practical skills of photojournalistic photography. Students experience intense short-term, deadline-driven assignments. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
