BIO 2184 Ecology and EvolutionFour hours (On Campus) A study of the principles of ecology and evolution with an emphasis on the interrelationships between organisms and their biotic and abiotic environments. The concepts and theoretical basis of evolution will be examined, including the processes that drive natural selection, population dynamics, and mechanisms of genetic variation. Three hours lecture-discussion and one two-hour laboratory per week. Meets the Natural Science requirement of the Core Curriculum. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
Prerequisite: BIO 1144 Corequisite: BIO 2184L Offered on campus Fall semester
