MUS 3213 History of Music I

Three hours (On Campus)

The historical development of music from the ancients to ~1820 with an emphasis on a holistic contextualizing of musical practices throughout this time period. This course includes a major research-analysis project. Meets the Arts and Humanities requirement of the Core Curriculum.
