SST 1113 Introduction to SociologyThree hours (On Campus and Online) Understanding sociological research and how to apply it to aid in developing a global perspective of today’s world. Topics of emphasis include the individual and society, structures of power, and social institutions common to all cultures and societies. The sociology of the body-health and illness, sexuality, and aging-is also discussed. Meets the Social and Behavioral Sciences requirement of the Core Curriculum.
