BIO 2514 Anatomy and Physiology I

Four hours
This is the first of a two-semester sequence studying the anatomy and physiology of human systems. Topics of study include the structure and function of tissues, the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems. The laboratory component includes microscopic studies, dissection, the use of models, and the study of physiological processes via experimentation. Three hours lecture-discussion and 1 two-hour laboratory per week. This course will not fulfill requirements for the Biology major or minor. An additional fee associated with this course.
