An undergraduate, B.S. program to educate students in developing fundamental artistic and technical skills as a foundation to their advancement as a VFX artist. While learning hands-on, applied, cinematic, and digital post-production skills, students gain the experience of applying those tools to a specific area of VFX specialization as they develop professional productions for their senior portfolios.
Student Learning Outcomes

Requirements for the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with major in Visual FX

University Core Curriculum - 45 hours
Program requirements satisfy 3 of the 48 hours in the Core Curriculum.
- Three hours of the Arts and Humanities elective area are satisfied by one of the following: ART 2163 , ART 2233 , ART 2343 .
Visual Arts Core - 9 hours
Visual FX Major - 42 hours
Minor field or electives as necessary to complete minimum total hours
