Student Learning Outcomes
Students graduating with a major in Computer Science will:
- Gain a foundational knowledge of programming logic and understand the need for life-long learning.
- Develop various programming skills that would be applicable to the current industry, in addition to expertise in a specific area of their interest.
- Demonstrate communication and team-work skills with others who have different backgrounds.
- Demonstrate preparedness to enter graduate school or the workplace through a capstone project or an exit interview.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve moral and ethical dilemmas through their understanding and application of the Christian worldview.

University Core Curriculum - 45 hours
Program requirements satisfy 3 of the 48 hours in the Core Curriculum.
- The Mathematics elective area is satisfied by one of the following: MTH 1123 , MTH 1134 .

Must take BUS 2193 as the Statistics elective to meet course prerequisites. Computer Engineering - 12 hours
Must take MTH 1134 as the Mathematics elective to meet course prerequisites. Creative Writing - 12 hours
Gaming/Web Development - 12 hours

Must take BUS 2193 as the Statistics elective to meet course prerequisites. Mathematics - 13 hours
Must take MTH 1134 as the Mathematics elective to meet course prerequisites. Must take MTH 3183 as the Statistics elective to meet course prerequisites. Music - 12 hours
MUS 1103 is a prerequisite for MUS 1113. A placement exam is administered by the faculty in which students can test out of MUS 1103. MUS 1103 does not count towards the music emphasis. Students may waive the MUS 1113 requirement (i.e., place directly into MUS 2113) via consultation with the music faculty.
Psychology - 12 hours
Must take PSY 2383 as the Statistics elective to meet course prerequisites. Minor field or electives as necessary to complete minimum total hours
