The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in General Business is for those who want an overview of business without in-depth knowledge in a particular discipline. This degree is a strong complement to studies in technical areas (digital, cinema, graphic design, or engineering). Students may choose Applied Business Programming, Economics, or Leadership as minor fields of study with this major.
The baccalaureate program in General Business requires 120 minimum total semester hours including courses from four categories: (1) the Core Curriculum, (2) the Business Department Core, (3) the General Business Core, and (4) a minor field of study or electives sufficient to achieve the required minimum total hours.
Students must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 in all Department of Business course work.
