The Outdoor Leadership Ministries with Wilderness Medicine major equips students who are motivated to work in a helping profession to provide specialized services in unique locations. Whether you seek a role as an adventure guide or trainer, an adventure program manager, or just want to contribute in other emergency medical roles this degree will provide the training and background to enter this work with confidence and experience. Possible careers in this area include Wilderness Guide, WFR and WFA instructor, Ambulance Service, ER Medical Technician, or Camp Adventure Manager. With additional training, students could pursue careers as a Firefighter or a Wildland Fire Fighter.
