Linguistics Minor

Intermediate Language Study - 6 hours

Summer Institute of Linguistics - 10 semester-hours minimum

Offered through the University of North Dakota or Trinity Western University (Langley, British Columbia, Canada)

Foreign Language Component - 6 hours

Because English is a Germanic language which has undergone extensive influence from French and Latin, students must take two semesters of Elementary Language (French, German, or Latin) or demonstrate proficiency by an appropriate score on the CLEP test.
