MTH 2143 Mathematical Structures IThree hours (On Campus) This course is a presentation of mathematics in a format that prepares teachers of elementary school mathematics. Topics include problem-solving patterns, the mathematical meaning and background of real-number arithmetic, and number theory.
Prerequisite: minimum ACT math score of 19, or minimum SAT math score of 510, or CLT math score of at least 18, or Passing Score (State Level) on Praxis I Math, or MTH 0153 with grade of ‘C’ or better Offered on campus Fall semester
