MUS 3232 Reharmonization Techniques for the Church

Three hours (On Campus)
An integrated study of music theory with an emphasis on emerging pop symbols and popular and jazz harmonies used in current worship music. The creation of worship charts, lead sheets, chord substitution, simplified hymn harmonization, segues, intros, outros, turnarounds and arranging are studied in detail.

Prerequisites: MUS 2111  and MUS 2113
