EN 3613 Biomedical Engineering Applications 1Three hours (On Campus) A study of applications of engineering in the biomedical field. Topics covered include medical device regulations, biomechanics, biomaterials and biocompatibility, and bioinstrumentation. The course will cover background in anatomy and physiology of specific applications, the use of engineering principles in the design of medical devices as well as recent advances in preclinical medical research. An additional fee may be associated with this course.
Prerequisites: EE 2223 and ME 3113 Offered on campus Fall semester (even-numbered years)
