Student Learning OutcomesStudents graduating with a major in Computer Science will: - Gain a foundational knowledge of programming logic and understand the need for life-long learning.
- Develop various programming skills that would be applicable to the current industry, in addition to expertise in a specific area of their interest.
- Demonstrate communication and team-work skills with others who have different backgrounds.
- Demonstrate preparedness to enter graduate school or the workplace through a capstone project or an exit interview.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve moral and ethical dilemmas through their understanding and application of the Christian worldview.
Requirements for the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with major in Computer Science

University Core Curriculum - 45 hours
Program requirements satisfy 3 of the 48 hours in the Core Curriculum.
- The Mathematics elective area is satisfied by one of the following: MTH 1123 or MTH 1134 .

Computer Science Core - 27-28 hours
Mathematics Elective
One of the following: Statistics Elective
One of the following: Technical Electives - 9 hours
9 hours from the following: Foreign Language - 12 hours
A combination of two languages is permitted. Minor field or electives as necessary to complete minimum total hours
