NUR 3124 Health Assessment & Therapeutic InterventionsFour hours Using the nursing process, students learn to assess the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of patients. Assessment skills are adjusted according to the patient’s developmental level. The skills of interviewing and physical assessment are developed to assist students in making clinical judgments. The course also incorporates selected foundational nursing knowledge and interventions, including documentation utilizing informatics. Three classroom hours per week and a total of 40 laboratory hours. An additional fee associated with this course.
Prerequisite: admission into the nursing major Corequisite: NUR 3115 Offered fall semester
